Juniors
At West Middlesex Tennis Club we are committed to developing our young tennis players. With over 20 after school and weekend group lessons we can offer coaching to all ages and abilities, from 4 years old. Affiliated to the LTA we follow the mini tennis programme from red ball through to yellow.

All our players have British Tennis Membership and are allocated ratings. Their progression through groups can be tracked by their ratings

Tots Tennis
At West Middlesex Tennis Club children can start learning to play tennis from as young as 2 and 1/2 years old! Fun sessions Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, click here for details
Friday Night is Junior Club Night (term time only)
Fun matchplay organized and supervised by one of the coaches - two sessions 4.30-5.30pm red and orange ball 6.30-8.00pm green and yellow ball. Bar open for snacks and drinks.

Tennis Leaders Course
We held a very successful course on Sunday March 6th. Endorsed by the LTA the course consists of 4 modules and at the end the participants will receive a leaders t-shirt and certificate. We hope to run another one soon, please contact the office if you are interested.

Junior tennis trip to Ilfracombe tennis tournament
A week long trip to Ilfracombe in Devon including entry to the Ilfracombe tennis tournament. Stay includes hotel, B&B and tournament entry fees.

MINI TENNIS PROGRAMME
- West Middlesex has been accredited as a Mini Tennis Centre.
- Mini Tennis is the LTA initiative launched summer 2001.
- It provides 3 stages for juniors to progress through with various court sizes and modified equipment to suit age and ability.
- The emphasis is on developing hand-eye coordination, movement, and racket skills together with learning the shots to play the game.
- All players will be working towards the completion of the LTA Mini Tennis Awards
- Information about all suggested Mini Tennis Red, Orange and Green tournaments will be displayed on the junior notice board in the clubhouse. If you have any queries please talk with one of the coaches.
FULL COURT TENNIS PROGRAMME
- Emphasis is on developing hand-eye coordination, movement, footwork and racket skills together with the technical and tactical aspects of the game of tennis.
- Information about all suggested tournaments - for all abilities will be displayed on the junior notice board in the clubhouse. If you have any queries please don't hesitate to talk to one of the coaches.
